Enterprise Account Manager (br)
NOTE: This is a remote job - the work will be done from a home office in the candidate's home country - there is no opportunity for relocation.
Bocada is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to augment our growing sales team working with large, global enterprise customers. Bocada customer users are backup administrators, IT operators, storage architects, backup engineers, backup and storage architects and directors of IT operations at Global 2000 companies. Bocada account managers are the primary relationship owners with customers responsible for expanding relationships and driving growth. This role combines account management, strategic sales, and customer advocacy to maximize customer retention and revenue. This is a high visibility, high-impact position, key in maintaining highest levels of customer satisfaction.
The responsibilities of the Enterprise Account Manager
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Trusted Advisor: Act as the trusted advisor to customers, understanding their business needs and driving customer adoption of the Bocada platform.
- Revenue Retention: Drive account renewals, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Revenue Growth: Develop account plans for your customers, ensuring proactive engagement to secure long-term success.
- Customer Advocacy: Advocate for customers internally by collaborating with product, support, and technical teams to address customer needs and challenges.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Engagement: Partner with customers to understand their strategic goals and demonstrate how Bocada’s solutions support their objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews and product demonstrations to showcase value and identify new opportunities.
- Market & Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges to identify growth opportunities and provide relevant insights.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years in enterprise account management in the storage, backup or disaster recovery space.
- Native or fluent English with exceptional presentation, verbal and writing skills.
- A Bachelors degree in a technical field
- Demonstrated (and measurable) record of success having grown a portfolio of enterprise customers.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing complex deals.
- Solid technical skills and ability to diagnose and summarize complex technical issues
